Engine Junction Box (EJB)

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the engine control module (ECM) cover.
^ Remove the 10 screws.





3. Remove the engine junction box (EJB).
^ Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors.
^ Release the EJB positive battery cable.
^ Remove the 2 nuts.





CAUTION: Note the fitted position of the component prior to removal.

NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

4. Remove the 5 relays.

Installation
1. Install the relays.
2. Install the EJB.
^ Tighten the nuts to 8 Nm (6 ft. lbs.).
^ Secure the EJB positive battery cable.
^ Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the ECM cover.
^ Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (1 ft. lbs.).
4. Connect the battery ground cable.
