System Specifications
Cylinder Head BoltsThe bolts can only be used twice. If two punch marks are visible, discard the bolts.
First pass: Bolts 1-10 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs).
Second pass: Bolts 1-10 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs).
Third pass: Bolts 1-10 Tighten 90°
Fourth pass: Bolts 1-10 Tighten 90°
Final pass: Bolts 11 & 12 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs).
Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs).
Camshaft Sprocket Retaining Bolts 120 Nm (88 ft. lbs).
The intake camshaft sprocket retaining bolt MUST be tightened before the exhaust camshaft sprocket retaining bolt.
Exhaust Manifold Bolts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs).
Remove and discard the bolts.
