Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

Front Door Window Regulator Motor

Removal
1. Remove the front door window glass.
2. Release the front door window regulator and motor from the side impact protection beam.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.
^ Remove the bolt.
^ Remove the clip.
^ Remove the clamp.





3. Remove the front door window regulator and motor.
^ Remove and discard the 2 lower bolts.
^ Remove the 3 upper bolts.





Installation
1. Install the front door window regulator and motor.
^ Remove the 2 clips.
^ Install the clamp.
^ Tighten the 4 upper bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the 2 new lower bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
^ Install the clip.
2. Connect the front door window regulator and motor electrical connector.
3. Install the front door window glass.
