Lubricate
    Front Steering Knuckle
    Drive/Propeller Shaft
      Lubricate front drive shaft bushings. Lubricate propeller shaft and re-torque flange bolts.
Inspect/Adjust
    Drive Belt
      Inspect drive belts (non-ribbed belts) for cracks, excessive wear or oiliness. Adjust or replace as necessary.
Check
    Vehicle
      While driving the vehicle, check the proper operation of the engine, transmission, brakes and steering. Check for abnormal noises or vibrations from any part of the vehicle. General body check.
Inspect
    Steering Gear
      Inspect steering gear box for signs of leakage.
    Steering
      Check linkages for wear and damage. Inspect boots for damage.
    Paint
      Inspect body for corrosion and paint condition.
    Fuel Supply Line
      Inspect fuel lines and connections, Fuel Tank vapor Vent System Hoses for cracks or leaks. Check Fuel Tank Band for corrosion and damage.
    Fuel Filler Cap
      Inspect fuel tank cap gasket for cracks or signs of leakage.
    Fluid - Transfer Case
      Check level and condition.
    Fluid - Differential
      Check fluid level and condition. Check for leaks.
    Fluid - A/T
      Check fluid level and condition. Check for leaks.
    Exhaust System
      Check for cracks, corrosion and leakage. Check heat shields for debris.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Inspect the vehicles brake linings and discs/drums. Check parking brake operation and brake pedal free-play.
    Brake Hose/Line
      Inspect brake lines and hoses for chaffing, cracks, deterioration, or damage.
    Ball Joint
      Check ball joints and boots for wear, damage and leakage.
Replace
    Spark Plug
    Oil Filter, Engine
      Replace every 6 months or 7500 miles.
    Engine Oil
      Replace every 6 months or 7500 miles.
    Coolant
      Flush system, replace coolant. Check specific gravity for freezing point.
    Brake Fluid
      Flush and bleed system. Check for leaks.
    Air Filter Element
      Extremely dusty conditions may require more frequent service of this component.
Clean/Repack
    Wheel Bearing
      Repack front wheel bearings.
Rotate
    Tires
      Recommended, but not required. Check tires for damage, debris and uneven wear. Adjust pressures as needed.
