TSB REVISION NOTICE:
- August 31, 2005: 2006 model year has been added to Applicable Vehicles.
Previous versions of TSB should be discarded.

INTRODUCTION:
As a result of the removal of the Short Pin, the "one-touch open and close" (AUTO) and "jam protection" functions for each door's power window may become inoperative due to loss of the window position memory stored in the microcomputer.

Initialize each door's "one-touch" power window after installing the Short Pin in its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

NOTE:
Anytime the battery terminal has been disconnected or a low battery condition has occurred, initialize each door's power window after reconnecting the battery terminal or correcting the low battery condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2003 - 2006 model year GX 470 vehicles.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE:

1. Install the Short Pin to the original location in the relay block in the engine compartment.

With the ignition switch in the "ON" position, do the following:

NOTE:
At this time, the power window switch for each door's window should be blinking.

2. Push down and hold the driver's door power window switch to completely open the window.

3. Pull and hold up the driver's door power window switch until the window closes. Continue holding the switch for approximately one second until the switch changes from blinking to a constant illumination.
4. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch to the "DOWN" and "UP" positions.

NOTE:
Jam protection function becomes effective through the above initialization procedure.

5. Repeat the above procedure on each door's window switch.
