Introduction
Some GX 470 customers may experience a low cooling effect from the A/C system when driving in high temperature areas. This TSIB provides a procedure to improve this condition.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that the correct kit is ordered for this application as kit contents differ from platform to platform. See the Parts Information table for further detail.

^ 2003 - 2006 model year GX 470 vehicles with Dual A/C produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown below.

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
