Ignition Timing: Adjustments
Installing Jumper Wire:
- Start engine and install jumper wire between DLC connector terminals TE1 and E1.
- Allow engine to reach normal operating temperature.
Timing Inspection:
- Inspect ignition timing. If necessary, adjust by turning distributor.
Timing - 10° BTDC
Rechecking Adjustment:
- Remove jumper wire and reinspect.
Timing - 13 to 27° BTDC
