EGR Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION OF RESISTANCE OF EGR GAS TEMP. SENSOR (a)
Remove the LH engine wire cover.
(b)
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
Resistance:
69 - 89 kOhms at 50°C (112°F)
11 - 15 kOhms at 100°C (212°F)
2 - 4 kOhms at 150°C (302°F) If resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
(c)
Install the LH engine wire cover.
