Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair

Catalyst Replacement:

Removal
- Jack up the vehicle.
- Check that the three-way catalytic converter is cool.
- Remove the four bolts and nuts holding the pipes to the three-way catalytic converter.
- Remove the three-way catalytic converter and two gaskets.

Installation
- Place new two gaskets on the front and rear pipes.
- Install the three-way catalytic converter with the bolts and nuts. Torque the bolts and nuts. Torque: 43 N-m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbs)
