Alternator Lamp/Indicator: Testing and Inspection
1.
Warm engine up and turn it off. Turn off all vehicle accessories.
2.
Turn ignition on. Ensure charge warning light is on.
3.
Start engine and ensure light goes off. If the light does not go off, diagnose the charge light circuit. Refer to
Starting & Charging, Charging System, Diagrams.
