Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Remove No. 1 undercover.
3. Remove No. 1 Lower finish panel.
4. Remove Console box assembly.
5. Remove Instrument panel lower center.
6. Disconnect ignition switch connector.
7. Remove screws and ignition switch from key cylinder and wire harness clamp, Fig. 16.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
