Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection
HIGH-TENSION CORDS INSPECTION 1.
REMOVE HIGH-TENSION CORDS.

Refer to service procedures.
2.
INSPECT HIGH-TENSION CORD RESISTANCE.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance.
Maximum resistance: 25 K ohms per cord -
If the resistance is greater than maximum, replace the high-tension cord.
3.
REINSTALL HIGH-TENSION CORDS.
