Neutral Safety Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 16 Neutral Safety Switch Replacement:

1. Remove front exhaust pipe.
2. Disconnect switch electrical connectors.
3. Remove manual/control shift lever.
4. Pry off lock washer and remove switch attaching nut, Figs. 15 and 16.
5. Remove two switch attaching bolts, then the switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
