EGR Valve: Service and Repair
By-pass Hoses:

Disconnect the following hoses:
1.
Water by-pass hose (from IAC valve) from the
EGR valve 2.
Water by-pass hose (from rear water by-pass joint) from the EGR valve
EGR Fasteners:
-
Remove the two nuts,
EGR valve and gasket.

Reverse procedure to install. Use new a new gasket and note the following torque value:
Torque value - 13 ft.lbs (18 N-m)
