Water Pump: Service and Repair

Fig. 14 Water Pump Removal:

1. Drain engine coolant, then disconnect radiator inlet and water bypass hoses.
2. Remove Drive belts and fan with fluid coupling, Fig. 14.
3. Remove water pump pulley and fan shroud.
4. Remove water pump mounting bolts and water pump.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque water pump mounting bolts to specifications.
