Park/Neutral Position Switch

If the engine can be started with the shift lever in any position other than "N" or "P," perform the following adjustment procedure.
1. Loosen [1][2]park/neutral position switch bolt and set shift lever to "N" position.
2. Align groove and neutral basic line, Fig. 11.

3. Hold in position and torque bolt to 9 ft. lbs.
