Dash Board Disassembly and Reassembly

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
(a) Glove compartment door reinforcement
(b) No.4 heater to register duct
(c) No.5 heater to register duct
(d) No.2 register
(e) Glove compartment door lock striker plate
(f) No.1 side defroster nozzle duct
(g) No.2 side defroster nozzle duct
(h) No.1 side defroster nozzle

2. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, and remove front passenger airbag assembly.





(b) Pry up the 6 clips as shown in the illustration and remove the airbag door.

CAUTION:
- Do not store the front passenger airbag assembly with the airbag deployment direction facing down.
- Never disassemble the front passenger airbag assembly.

3. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
(a) No.6 console mounting bracket
(b) No.1 heater to register duct
(c) No.2 stay
(d) Instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly

REASSEMBLY
Reassembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.
