Introduction
The following procedures were developed to help eliminate potential buzz or rattle noise from the Door Control Receiver, and Rear Seat Belt Retractor area.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

Door Control Receiver Buzz








To help eliminate a potential buzz noise, fit material at cross-sections A-A, B-B, and C-C as shown in the diagrams, from the Interior Noise Kit (P/N 08231-00801) to the Door Control Receiver.

NOTE:
Be careful not to allow any dust or debris to accumulate or enter the door control receiver.

To help eliminate a potential buzz noise, fit two pieces of felt size: L:15 mm, W:10 mm, and T: mm from the Interior Noise Kit (P/N 08231-00801) to the Quarter Inner Panel as shown.
