GLOVE BOX RATTLE NOISE - REVISED

THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS TSB SUPERSEDES TSB NO. 0375 DATED APRIL, 2000. THE PREVIOUS TSB SHOULD BE DISCARDED.

The following repair procedure has been developed to reduce the possibility of a rattle from the glove box on 1999 and 2000 model year RX300.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Open the Glove Box Door Assembly.
2. Remove any felt that may be located along the sides of the glove box door.







3. Add a piece of felt, 10 mm x 10 mm x 1 mm, to the right and left sides of the glove box door as indicated in the drawing. Felt should be attached to the edge of the glove box, then applied to the inner surface.

NOTE: Be sure that felt is not visible when the glove box assembly is in the closed position.
