Introduction
Some 2000-2001 model year LX 470 vehicles may experience a continuous chime/alarm noise emitting from the combination meter after the vehicle has been started or the key has been turned to the "run" position and the bulb check has completed. An updated Junction Block, Cowl Side, has been developed to correct this condition.

Replace the Cowl Side Junction Block.

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
