Quarter Window Glass: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. Rear No. 2 seat
b. Rear door scuff plate
c. Rear mat set plate
2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING REAR TRIM
Using a screwdriver, remove the roof headlining rear trim.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
3. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. Rear No. 2 seat outer belt floor anchor
Torque: 41 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)
b. Rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor
Torque: 41 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)
c. Rear door opening trim
d. Rear mat set plate
4. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL
a. Remove the quarter trim jack cover.
b. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
c. Remove the quarter trim panel, then disconnect the connector.
5. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. Anchor cover
b. Rear No. 2 seat outer belt shoulder anchor
Torque: 41 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)
c. Rear No. 1 seat outer belt shoulder anchor
Torque: 41 N.m (420 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)
6. REMOVE UPPER ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the assist grip plugs, then remove the 4 screws and assist grip.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the upper roof side inner garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
7. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW GLASS ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.
c. Remove the quarter window glass.
d. Remove the quarter window weatherstrip.
8. REMOVE POWER VENT MOTOR ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 screws, then remove the bracket.
b. Remove the screw and the power vent motor assembly.
9. REMOVE QUARTER BELT MOULDING
a. Remove the screw.
b. Using a screwdriver, remove the quarter belt moulding.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
