INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ELECTRO CHROMIC OUTER MIRROR OPERATION




a. Disconnect the outer mirror connector.
b. Connect the positive (+) lead from the dry through battery (1.5 V) to terminal 7 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 15, then check that the mirror surface becomes "dark".
c. Reconnect them to the dry cell battery in the reverse order, then check that the mirror surface becomes "bright".
If the operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
