Headlamp Leveling ECU Assembly

HEADLAMP LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY NO.1
3. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE HEADLAMP LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the bolt and ECU.

5. INSTALL HEADLAMP LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Install the bolt and ECU.
b. Connect the connector

6. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD-ASSEMBLY NO.1
8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
