DTC P1617 Distance Control ECU Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

In the dynamic radar cruise control system, the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the distance control ECU (cruise control ECU) communicate with one another to control the system based on some designation information. If the designation information of the hybrid vehicle control ECU and distance control ECU is different or distance control ECU is malfunctioning, this DTC is recorded.

Step 1:

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTE: When the distance control ECU (cruise control ECU) is replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed.
