Air Conditioning Amplifier:




AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
5. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH
6. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
8. REMOVE NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY




11. REMOVE NO.2 AIR DUCT
a. Remove the screw and air duct.




12. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the screw and A/C amplifier.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the A/C amplifier with the screw and connect the connector.




2. INSTALL NO.2 AIR DUCT
a. Install the air duct and screw.

3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH
7. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH
9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH
10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
