INTRODUCTION:

Please initialize each door's power window after installing the DCC fuse in its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).

The installation of the DCC fuse and the initialization procedure shown below, will enable the "one-touch open and close" and "jam protection" functions for the power window of each door.

NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power window for each door must be re-initialized.


APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2007 model year GS 450h vehicles.






WARRANTY INFORMATION:

INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE:






1. Without depressing the brake pedal, push the engine START/STOP switch twice to select the "IG-ON" mode.
At this time, the driver's door power window switch illumination blinks.

2. Push the driver's door power window switch and lower the window halfway.






3. Pull up the driver's door power window switch until the window closes, and continue to hold it up for approximately one second.
At this time, the driver's door power window switch changes from blinking to constant illumination.

NOTE:
Jam protection function is enabled through the above initialization procedure.


4. Check for the proper operation of the "one-touch open and close function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.
5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 on the power window switch for each door.
6. Check that the power window switch illumination for each door is constant.

NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, the power window for each door must be re-initialized.
