Compressor HVAC: Testing and Inspection

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. CHECK COMPRESSOR LOCK SENSOR

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

If the result is not as specified, replace the compressor.

2. CHECK MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Apply battery voltage to the clutch and check operation of the clutch.
