Navigation Module: Service and Repair

Navigation ECU:

NAVIGATION ECU

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE JACK CARRIER SUPPORT
5. REMOVE JACK ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE JACK CARRIER ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX FRONT
8. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX REAR
9. REMOVE DECK NO. 2 BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE DECK NO. 3 BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
12. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH
13. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH

14. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU




a. Disconnect each connector.
b. Remove the 3 nuts and the navigation ECU.

15. REMOVE NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Remove the 2 screws and the No. 2 disc player bracket.

16. REMOVE DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Remove the 2 screws and the disc player bracket.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Install the disc player bracket with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Install the No. 2 disc player bracket with the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL NAVIGATION ECU




a. Install the navigation ECU with the 3 nuts.
b. Connect each connector.

4. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH
5. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH
6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
7. INSTALL DECK NO. 3 BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL DECK NO. 2 BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX REAR
10. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX FRONT
11. INSTALL JACK CARRIER ASSEMBLY
12. INSTALL JACK ASSEMBLY
13. INSTALL JACK CARRIER SUPPORT
14. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
15. INSTALL DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
17. PERFORM INITIALIZATION Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
