Clearance Warning ECU Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the clearance warning ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (LH-IG)
(a) Remove the LH-IG fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.
(b) Measure the resistance of the LH-IG fuse.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE LH-IG FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (IG TERMINAL VOLTAGE)
(a) Disconnect the A38 ECU connector.





(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - BATTERY)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the A38 ECU connector.





(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
