DTC C1774/74 - Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The stabilizer control ECU recognizes the ignition switch ON signal based on voltage input to terminal IG. It also activates the system based on voltage input to terminal IG2.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: Start the inspection from step 1 when using the Techstream, and start from step 2 when not using the Techstream.

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING DATA LIST
(a) Connect the the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and the Techstream on.
(c) Select the item below in the Data List, and read its value displayed on the Techstream.

KDSS:





(d) Check the voltage.
Standard voltage:
10 to 14 V
NG -- INSPECT STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
OK -- REPLACE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
2. INSPECT STABILIZER CONTROL ECU





(a) Disconnect the S36 and S35 connectors from the stabilizer control ECU.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STABILIZER CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND)
OK -- REPLACE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STABILIZER CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND)





(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (STABILIZER CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND)
OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (STABILIZER CONTROL ECU - BATTERY)
