INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK SYSTEM





(a) Check that the remote control operation of the rear system is not locked by the radio receiver or the radio and navigation assembly.
(1) Check if "Rear System Locked" appears on the television display.
OK:
The message does not appear.
NG -- RELEASE LOCK
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. REPLACE REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY WITH NORMAL ONE AND CHECK
(a) Replace the remote controller battery with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
OK:
Same problem does not occur.
OK -- END (BATTERY IS DEPLETED)
NG -- Continue to next step.
3. CLEAN INFRARED RAY EMITTING PORTION





(a) Clean the infrared ray emitting portion.
(1) Clean the infrared ray emitting portion on the rear display.
(2) Check whether the same malfunction occurs.
OK:
The function returns to normal.
OK -- END
NG -- PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
