EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER: DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT NO. 1
(a) with Towing hitch:
Remove the 3 bolts and reinforcement.
(b) without Towing hitch:
Remove the 3 bolts and reinforcement.
3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT NO. 2
(a) with Towing hitch:
Remove the 2 bolts and reinforcement.
(b) without Towing hitch:
Remove the 3 bolts and reinforcement.
4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER LH
(a) Remove the screw and retainer.
5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER RH
(a) Remove the screw and retainer.
6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH
(a) Remove the 2 screws and side support.
7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
(a) Remove the 2 screws and side support.
