2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: THROTTLE BODY:

REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and V-bank cover sub-assembly.
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the vacuum hoses (for the P/S idle-up and fuel pressure regulator) and ventilation hose.
(b) Remove the air cleaner hose assembly.
4. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the water by-pass hose, water by-pass hose No. 7 and the throttle position sensor connector.






(b) Remove the 3 bolts and nut.
(c) Remove the throttle body and the throttle body gasket.
