SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: REAR AIRBAG SENSOR:

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the RH side.

1. PRECAUTION
CAUTION: Be sure to read "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.

3. REMOVE QUARTER SCUFF PLATE INNER RH
4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
5. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT SUPPORT PLATE REAR
7. REMOVE BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

Removal.

9. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER REAR NO. 1 SEAT
10. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY OUTER RH
11. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD RH Removal

12. REMOVE REAR AIRBAG SENSOR RH
(a) Disconnect the connector from the rear airbag sensor RH.






(b) Remove the 2 nuts and the rear airbag sensor RH.
