Removal

A750F AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY:

REMOVAL

1. SEPARATE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly.
3. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the floor shift lever knob sub-assembly.
4. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

7. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the clip and separate the transmission control cable assembly from the shift lever assembly.
HINT: When the transmission control cable end is pressed, it can be removed from the floor shift lever.
NOTE: The nut may be loosened (up to approx.1 mm), however, never remove it.

8. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts.
(c) Remove the transmission floor shift assembly.
