INTERIOR: FRONT CONSOLE BOX: DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET LOWER






(a) Detach the 8 claws and remove the box pocket.
2. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 dampers.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) Remove the 4 screws and compartment door.





3. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Slide the door hinge and remove the 2 screws.
(b) Remove the 2 screws and door hinge.
4. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Place protective tape as shown in the illustration.
(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 clips.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) Detach the 2 claws and remove the door lock.
