Timing Components: Specifications

Timing Chain Tensioner Bolts 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

Crankshaft Pulley Bolt 300 Nm (3059 kgf-cm, 221 ft-lbf)

Timing Chain Cover





First pass: Temporarily tighten timing chain cover with 30 bolts and nut.

Bolt length:





NOTE: Make sure that there is no oil on bolt threads.





Second pass: Tighten 11 bolts in several steps in sequence 47 Nm (479 kgf-cm, 35 ft-lbf)





Third pass: Temporarily tighten belt tensioner with standard bolt and 6 mm hexagon wrench bolt.





Final pass: Tighten 21 bolts and nut in several steps in sequence 23 Nm (235 kgf-cm, 17 ft-lbf)
