PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: INTUITIVE PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM: C1AE0: Front Left Side Sensor

DTC C1AE0 - Front Left Side Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The front side No. 2 ultrasonic sensor LH is installed on the front bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the front side sensor LH. If the front side sensor LH has an open or other malfunction, it will not function normally.





HINT:

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the power switch ON (IG) and move the shift lever to R. Then clear the DTC.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.

A -- Continue to next step.
2. REPLACE FRONT SIDE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR LH





(a) Replace the ultrasonic sensor with a normally functioning sensor Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
