SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY
CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat adjuster seat cushion frame may injure your hands.
NOTE: If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents, or other defects in the case or connector, replace it with a new one.
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH
2. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Installation

3. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)
- If replacing the ECU, replace the front seat set (cushion assembly, occupant classification ECU and 2 nuts).
- If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents, or other defects in the case or connector, replace it with a new one.

(a) Install the occupant classification ECU with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf)
(b) Connect the connector.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR FILTER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
(a) Rotate the No. 1 filter clockwise to attach the claws and install it.

5. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
(a) Install the climate control blower with the 2 bolts and wire harness clamp.
(b) Connect the connector and install the wire harness clamp.
(c) Attach the 2 claws to install the climate control air duct.

6. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
(a) Install the climate control ECU with the 2 bolts.
(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SEAT TRAVEL LINK
(a) Install the seat travel link with the bolt.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
8. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEAT TRAVEL LINK
(a) Install the seat travel link with the bolt.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

9. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION PLATE
(a) Install the seat cushion plate with the 2 bolts.

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING
(a) Install the 2 springs.

11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD
(a) Install the lower cushion shield with the 4 nuts.
12. INSTALL INSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH
(a) Install the inside reclining adjuster cover with the screw.

13. INSTALL INSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH
(a) Install the wire harness clamp to the inside reclining adjuster cover.
(b) Install the inside reclining adjuster cover with the screw.

14. INSTALL FRONT NO. 5 SEAT SET BRACKET (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Attach the 2 clamps to install the bracket.
(b) Install the 2 screws.

15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the headrest adjuster.
(b) Install the 2 bolts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Folding Headrest)

(a) Install the headrest stay cover with the 2 screws.

(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the cable.

(d) Attach the 2 claws to install the headrest adjuster.
(e) Install the 4 bolts and 2 screws.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)for bolt

17. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Attach the 4 clamps to install the lumbar support adjuster.
(b) for Driver Side:
Install the 2 motors with the 4 bolts.
(c) for Passenger Side:
Install the motor with the 2 bolts.
18. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

(a) Install the climate control controller with the 2 screws.

(b) for Front Passenger Side without Movable Lumbar Support:
Install the climate control controller to the seatback frame.
19. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK FRAME ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Temporarily install the seatback frame with the 4 bolts.
(b) Push the seatback frame towards the vehicle rear, and tighten the 4 bolts.
Torque: 43 Nm (439 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

(c) Attach the 11 clamps and connect the connectors.
20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

21. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seatback frame and attach the hooks. Then install the 2 clips.

(b) for Front Passenger Side:
(1) Connect the connector.
(2) Attach the 2 claws to install the power seat switch.

22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH
(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.
23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH
(a) w/ Folding Headrest:
Install the headrest.

(b) w/o Folding Headrest:
Install the headrest with the 2 pins.
24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
- As the front passenger side seat has an occupant classification system, its front seat cushion assembly cannot be disassembled.
- If replacing the front passenger side seat, replace the front seat set (cushion assembly, occupant classification ECU and 2 nuts).

25. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- As the front passenger side seat has an occupant classification system, its front seat cushion assembly cannot be disassembled.
- If replacing the front passenger side seat, replace the front seat set (cushion assembly, occupant classification ECU and 2 nuts).

(a) Install the seat cushion frame with the 4 clips.
(b) Attach the hooks.

26. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
(a) Install the climate control controller with the 2 screws.
27. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the seat cushion assembly with the 4 bolts and attach the hook.
Torque: 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(b) for Front Passenger Side:
Connect the connector.

(1) Attach the 2 claws to connect the climate control duct.
(2) Connect the connector and attach the connector clamp.

(3) Connect the 2 connectors and attach the wire harness clamp.

(4) Connect the duct of the climate control blower and install the 3 screws.

(5) Attach the 2 claws to install the air duct.
28. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the interior illumination light with the screw.

(b) Attach the 2 hooks to install the seatback board.
(c) Connect the interior illumination light wire harness connector.
(d) Install the interior illumination light wire harness clamp.
(e) Install the 2 screws.

29. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Attach the claw to install the inner cushion shield.
(b) Install the 3 screws.
30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

31. INSTALL FRONT SEAT FRONT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Install the cushion shield with the 4 screws.

32. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER LH
(a) Install the hinge cover with the 2 screws.

33. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SEAT SHIELD SET BRACKET
(a) Install the bracket with the screw.

34. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the position control ECU and switch assembly with the 5 screws.
35. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

(a) Connect the 2 connectors.
(b) Attach the 2 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and install the cushion shield.
(c) Install the 3 screws.

(d) Install the rubber band of the front seatback board to the seat adjuster.
