3UR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal







6. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Exhaust Side of Bank 1)
(a) Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.






7. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Intake Side of Bank 1)
(a) Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.






8. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Intake Side of Bank 2)
(a) Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.






9. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Exhaust Side of Bank 2)
(a) Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.
