BRAKE: REAR BRAKE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
2. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER SLIDE PIN






(a) Apply the lithium soap base glycol grease to the sliding part and the seal surface of the slide pin.
(b) Install the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin.
(c) Apply the lithium soap base glycol grease to the sliding part and the seal surface of the slide pin No. 2.
(d) Install the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin No. 2 to the bottom side of the cylinder mounting LH.






(e) Fully tighten the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin and the rear disc brake cylinder slide pin No. 2.
Torque: 43 Nm (440 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
3. CONNECT REAR LH FLEXIBLE HOSE
(a) Connect the flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
Torque: 29 Nm (300 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)
4. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID Service and Repair

5. BLEED MASTER CYLINDER Service and Repair

6. BLEED BRAKE LINE Service and Repair

7. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR Service and Repair

8. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
9. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
