2GR-FE EMISSION CONTROL: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2)
(a) Temporarily tighten the oxygen sensor to the exhaust front pipe sub-assembly.
NOTE: Do not damage the oxygen sensor.

(b) Using SST, fully tighten the oxygen sensor to the exhaust front pipe sub-assembly.
SST: 09224-00010
Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL EXHAUST FRONT PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2) Installation

3. INSTALL NO. 3 EXHAUST FRONT PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)
(a) Install the No. 3 exhaust front pipe sub-assembly with the 4 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 compression springs.

4. INSTALL OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1)
(a) Temporarily tighten the oxygen sensor to the No. 3 exhaust front pipe sub-assembly.
NOTE: Do not damage the oxygen sensor.

(b) Using SST, fully tighten the oxygen sensor to the No. 3 exhaust front pipe sub-assembly.
SST: 09224-00010
Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
