PRECAUTION
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.





1. INSPECTION PRECAUTION FOR LEXUS LINK SYSTEM
(a) When the mayday battery runs low, the mayday ECU sets DTC 6-1. Perform troubleshooting according to the malfunction indicated by 6-1.
2. WHEN REPLACING MAYDAY ECU
(a) If replacement of the ECU is necessary, replace the mayday battery (backup battery) together with the ECU. After the replacement, register the ECU.
