Display Signal Circuit between Disc Player Changer and Multi-Display
DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends a DVD image signal from the radio receiver to the multi-display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
(a) Check if the vehicle is equipped with the rear seat entertainment system.
Result:
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - DISC PLAYER CHANGER)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER CHANGER - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
(a) Disconnect the D24 changer connector.
(b) Disconnect the R27 display connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT TELEVISION DISPLAY
(a) Reconnect the R27 display connector.
(b) Check the waveform of the television display using an oscilloscope.
OK:
Waveform is as shown in the illustration.
NG -- REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - DISC PLAYER CHANGER)
(a) Disconnect the M22 display connector.
(b) Disconnect the D24 changer connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. INSPECT DISC PLAYER CHANGER
(a) Reconnect the D24 changer connector.
(b) Check the waveform of the disc player changer using an oscilloscope.
OK:
Waveform is as shown in the illustration.
NG -- REPLACE DISC PLAYER CHANGER
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
