INTERIOR: ROOF HEADLINING: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL ROOF SIDE AIR OUTLET REGISTER
(a) Install the screw and register.
2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
(a) Attach double-sided tape along the markings on the roof headlining, as shown in the illustration.




HINT: Be careful that dirt or foreign object does not stick to the adhesive part when removing the peeling paper from the double-sided tape.

(b) Attach the roof wire harness across the adhesive part.
NOTE:
Attach roof wire harness securely.

(c) Install the roof headlining.
3. INSTALL COAT HOOK
(a) Install the bolt and coat hook.
HINT: Use the same procedure to install the hook on the other side.

4. INSTALL COAT HOOK (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)
(a) Install the 2 bolt and coat hook.
HINT: Use the same procedure to install the hook on the other side.

5. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER
(a) Install the screw and visor holder.
HINT: Use the same procedure to install the visor holder on the other side.

6. INSTALL CENTER VISOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the 2 screws and center visor assembly.
7. INSTALL CENTER VISOR ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the 2 screws and center visor assembly.
8. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the 2 screws and visor assembly.
9. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Install the 2 screws and visor assembly.
10. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER





(a) Install the visor bracket cover and engage the 4 claws.
HINT: Use the same procedure to install the visor bracket cover on the other side.

11. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING REAR TRIM COVER LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat)





(a) Install the roof headlining trim cover and engage the 6 screws.
(b) Install the seat belt buckle to the roof headlining trim cover.
12. INSTALL NO. 2 INTERIOR LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Engage the interior light connector.
(b) Install the interior light assembly and engage the 4 claws.
(c) Install the lens cover.
13. INSTALL NO. 1 INTERIOR LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System)
(a) Engage the interior light connector.
(b) Install the interior light assembly and engage the 4 claws.
(c) Install the lens cover.





14. INSTALL TELEVISION BASE (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System)
(a) Connect the television display connector.
(b) Connect the connector then engage the 4 clips to install the television base.
(c) Install the 2 bolts.
(d) Install the 2 lenses.
15. INSTALL ROOF CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Connect the connectors.
(b) Install the console box assembly and engage the 3 claws and 2 clips.
16. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the 2 screws and assist grip.
(b) Install the 2 assist grip plugs and engage the 4 claws.
HINT:
- w/o Rear No. 2 Seat:
Install the 4 assist grips.
- w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:
Install the 6 assist grips.

17. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
(a) w/ Curtain shield airbag:
Remove the cloth or nylon which covers the curtain shield airbag.
(b) Install the pillar garnish to the instrument panel.
(c) Install the garnish and engage the clip.





(d) Install the 2 grip plugs, 2 screws and assist grip.
18. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

19. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH





(a) Install the garnish and engage the 8 clips (B and C).
(b) Engage the claws and 8 clips.
(c) Install the floor anchor part of the rear seat No. 2 belt assembly.
20. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

21. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH





(a) Install trim board and engage the 8 clips.
(b) Install 2 screws.
(c) Install the bolt and the floor anchor part of the rear No. 1 seat assembly.





(d) Install the quarter trim cover with the screw.
(e) Install the luggage compartment hook by turning it clockwise.
22. INSTALL QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

23. INSTALL REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE





(a) Install the mat support plate and engage the 2 claws.
(b) Install the 5 screws.
24. INSTALL BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
25. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH





(a) Install the pillar garnish and engage the 2 claws and clip.
(b) Install the 2 screws.
26. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

27. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER LH





(a) Install the center pillar garnish and engage the 2 clips and 2 claws.
(b) Install the front seat belt anchor bolt and front seat belt.
28. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

29. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
30. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
31. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
32. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
33. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
(a) Install the scuff plate and engage the 4 claws.
34. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

35. INSTALL QUARTER SCUFF PLATE INSIDE LH





(a) Install the scuff plate and engage the 4 claws.
(b) Install the 2 quarter scuff plate inner covers.
36. INSTALL QUARTER SCUFF PLATE INNER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

37. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
(a) Install the trim board and engage the 2 claws.
(b) Install the cap nut.
38. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

39. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH





(a) Install the scuff plate and engage the 6 claws.
