Slip Indicator Light Remains ON
DESCRIPTION
The SLIP indicator blinks during VSC, TRAC, A-TRAC, downhill assist control or hill-start assist control operation.
When the system fails, the SLIP indicator comes on to warn the driver Diagnosis System.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration Calibration.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT IF SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR IS SECURELY CONNECTED
(a) Check the skid control ECU connector's connecting condition.
OK:
The connector is securely connected.
NG -- CONNECT CONNECTOR TO ECU CORRECTLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT BATTERY
(a) Check the battery voltage.
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
NG -- INSPECT CHARGING SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - COMBINATION METER)
(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector and combination meter connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (IND CIRCUIT)
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the combination meter system Meter / Gauge System.
NG -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
OK -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID
