DESCRIPTION

The rear A/C relay is switched on by signals from the A/C amplifier. It supplies power to the rear blower motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (RR A/C)
(a) Remove the RR A/C fuse from the engine room R/B.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE FUSE (RR A/C)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT RELAY (REAR COOLER)




(a) Remove the rear cooler relay.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE RELAY (REAR COOLER)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (A/C AMPLIFIER - BATTERY)
(a) Check for open and short circuit in the harness and the connector between the A/C amplifier and the body ground Electronic Circuit Inspection Procedure.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
