NAVIGATION: NAVIGATION ECU (for DVD): REMOVAL
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING Removal
5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU WITH DISC PLAYER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 3 bolts and ECU.
(b) Disconnect the ECU connectors.
10. REMOVE NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
11. REMOVE NO. 1 DISC PLAYER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
