INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT FUSE (E/G RM-IG 1-2)
(a) Remove the E/G RM-IG 1-2 fuse from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CONTROL RELAY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the A6 relay connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR
(a) Remove the headlight cleaner motor.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the headlight cleaner motor and check the operation of the headlight cleaner motor.
OK:
NG -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEANER MOTOR - CONTROL RELAY AND BATTERY)
(a) Disconnect the A3 motor connector.
(b) Disconnect the A6 relay connector.
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
