DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the windshield wiper switch. The manual operation signals are sent to the front light ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM (WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH)
(a) Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the windshield wiper switch.

Combination switch (Windshield Wiper Switch):

OK:
The display is as specified in the normal condition.
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WIPER SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the L25 switch connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:

OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
